I really liked it! You did a good job showing what a horrible year these three have had. And I really liked the effects. I don't think that many effects would work for many videos, but for this video, and this song, they were perfect! My only criticism is about the ending, when you just showed Veronica waking up after the party. It really seemed to slow down for me there. I wouldn't have minded seeing a little more of Duncan and Logan. *shrug* Feel free to ignore that though, if it doesn't work for you. :)

No, I actually agree with you. I kind of just ran out of song. I don't really like the way it ends, but none of the other sections provided a better ending. I couldn't decide what to cut out, so I just left it. Looking back, there are several things that ended up being the way they were because I was too lazy to change it. I would like to put the vid in at an awards site, but I think it needs more work. I totally need the feedback, good and bad, so don't worry about being critical. It helps.

Thank you. I'm still not sure I'm completely happy with it, but it was a bit of an experiment. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks, Smidgy. I know effects can be annoying sometimes, but the only way to learn how to use them is to play around with them a bit. I don't know if it's something I'll do alot of, but I least I know how to now. I figured as long as the effects added to the "story," people wouldn't get too annoyed.

Thanks for the kind words. Most people have had a problem catching all the fades in that one section. I figure that gives people an excuse to watch it again :)

I know the Duncan thing is faint. I actually changed it several times, but must not have gone far enough with the opacity. It's tricky to get the right combination. The feedback is great, though. It helps me know what works and what doesn't for my next vid. Thanks again.

Just a note to say that I re-uploaded the video after adjusting some of the overlays. The one with Duncan is a bit easier to see and a little larger. Check it out again if you get a chance and let me know if you think it's better.

I caught this over at the LoVe board, and I just had to tell you again how awesome this vid was. The effects you used with the multiple overlapping clips was amazing, and your choice to use the split screen in some parts was genius! Incredible job all around!

Thanks alot, diamondrocker. I just checked out your new vid as well and it was great. I'm glad you liked the effects. I did change some things after I originally posted it, so I don't know what version you saw. One of the things I changed was using a real "split-screen" as opposed to the small boxes I used originally. I don't know if that makes it look any better, but at least I didn't feel as lazy :)
