this is going to be a short one, I originally wrote it as a oneshot but at 10,000 words plus I decided to break it up into smaller chunks.

So it's already written bar a bit of editing! Will post next chapter in a few days.

Well this particular story is short, 2 more chapters only( unless LJ makes me break it up further). Definitely continuing it as its already written. Will post next chapter in a few days and last a few days after that!

I've started on the next " prequel" too which is more a series of vignettes of their life after this one ends, set a few months after this one ends. however if I get it written before the new season starts Ill post it , if not.....??? I will write it all before posting any otherwise I'll have yet another unfinished one on my conscience.

Finally I have in my head a " sequel" to the original story set about 4 years after that or about 14 years after the Season 9 finale....who knows if it gets written.....But yeah lots of ideas....jumbled in my poor poor brain!

I adore your "poor poor brain" and it's wonderful fic ideas! I do hope you choose to put up the sequel/vignettes that follow this, even if the timing coincides with the fresh Hell that Shonda delivers. I already find this reality far more refreshing than what is surely to come. LOL
I do understand, though, how soul-crushing Shondaland can be - and that you may not be inspired to do so. But if you ever need a little coaxing... :p

Since I stopped reading Shondas interviews and stopped following her on twitter and stopped reading Sides and spoilers etc.... I feel better!

They are her characters to do with what she pleases , her choice entirely but it's also my choice whether to engage with her choices going forward.

I'll do my best! Get as much written as possible, maybe even the one where 17 yr old Sofia finds out what happened and fresh tears ensue!!! Oh my brain is scrambled!!!

I was so happy to see you post a story, I always enjoy them. Great insight into human nature when it's hard to forgive yourself for a big mistake and then have guilt when it's not even warranted. Looking forward to the chapter!

Mostly she has forgiven herself, as Callie insisted, but there's always a bit of guilt and fear, which will be dealt with in Chapter 2 &3.

And the regret will never go, she will regret what she did forever, even after she' has been forgiven and has forgiven herself...which is one of the many reasons I hate this s/l on the show!!
