OMG, this was adorable. XD POOR WILL~ But I was so happy to see some of our long-running jokes in here, like the leaf blower (okay, that's new, but--) and the segway. Speaking of:

William grit his teeth and leaned forward slightly, increasing the acceleration of his Segway to a rip-roaring 12mph. <-- I laughed out loud. Literally. XD

The only thing missing was a reference to Ralph, haha. Maybe in the sequel? ;3

As hard as it might be to believe, the leaf blower wasn't originally in here! It was what inspired the general idea (a succession of FML moments in Will's daily routine) but I'd just had Finny borrowing Will's scythe for some mundane gardening purpose and that was supposed to be the whole joke. Then the idea of having to replace it with the leaf blower popped into my head and it just...worked. XD;;

WILLIAM RIDES A SEGWAY. BITCHES LOVE SEGWAYS.

Oh, Ralph! I completely forgot about poor old Ralph.

I suppose they could, if only in summer. They grow underground like potatoes, but usually in places like California. I guess it just goes to show that Finny's cuteness can overpower even the most common of common sense. XD;;

This is just....oh my god. (No lie, when I got your text about this at work I was just like OMGOMGOMG and could not wait to get home. XD) William just cannot catch a break. And...Pineapples. WTF with the pineapples. (And thank you for answering my mental question of how much Finny knows about the reapers' job, though that was incidental to the crackheadedness of it all. XD I just got this mental image of Finny running off holding the scythe over his head like YAY~) And the last line. I just. I can't. I cannot.

It came from a rather bonkers discussion Moony and I had in the comments of Diligo's most recent chapter. Sebastian kinda "badtouched" Will's scythe, so we both agreed he'd have to replace it now, just on principle. After going through several options, we wound up at leaf blower, which was simply too hilarious to not explore. XD;;

Haha, I tried to keep the placement of this fic rather ambiguous. (It's why I referred to Ciel as Sebastian's "partner," rather than lover or husband, which would have clearly set it either before or after H&K.) So it's still up in the air whether or not Finny's always known what the reapers do, or - if he didn't - when he found out.
