Money Matters....

Ok, so I've been to the local 'Job Centre Plus' (although quiet how it's 'plus' remains a mystery to me) and 'signed on' (as they say) but something I didn't realise was that I have to justify my continued receipt of money but showing them what I've done to find a job, every two weeks. While I can appreciate the purpose of this, I'm still annoyed

But seriously, applying to jobs with the comment that you'd only be able to do it for three months will probably avoid the need to refuse any jobs anyway.

Apply for NHS stuff. They never call you for interview, and when you filled out the form once you hardly have to make any changes to it for each job. Also, it looks like you're busy because there are so many jobs to apply for.

And finally - five past nine every other Friday? Is that all? Not much for £50 a week, plus housing and coucil tax benefits and free prescriptions

I don't mind the 'every other Friday bit', I'm annoyed at the '5 past 9' bit. I am not a morning person at the best of times.
