Don't write it if you don't want to. I've found the more uncomfortable I am, the stiffer the writing is.

And actually, I know how ya feel about the situation. I tried doing a yaoi, which is not my thing, (I prefer yuri actually and in fact, I have written some and plan more fics) and it was one of the worst, crappiest fanfics I've ever written, and the writing was stiffer than a board. If you can't get into it, you really can't write it, is what I realized from that experience.

I dunno, it'd be a challenge to write something you're not comfortable with but that's the beauty of writing - the challenge!
In the end though if you really can't get into it then turn it down. You'll probably just end up feeling awkward trying to do it. I'd even feel awkward writing a straight sex scene; not because I'm uncomfortable with it but because I doubt I could make it sound passionate. All writers have doubts though and often the only way to overcome them is to confront them head on. If it doesn't work out for you then you drop it from your story and move on to something else.
Besides, there's enough gay fan fiction for those inclined to get their jollies off out there anyway - we really don't need anymore!
