I am not obviously as deep in DC (or Marvel) as you, but this feels insulting. When I heard about it I was kinda wishing for the Superboy, or him to be omnisexual (I seriously don't follow the character's canon sexualities, I find them depressing so I live deep in my fanon.)

But seriously, who is this guy? I mean, if you are trying to cash by making some pre-existing character everyone knows suddenly gay, atleast do it well.

Yes, the last part was sarcasm. I felt the need to verify that.

I'm not surprised that it wasn't Hal Jordan. After all, we can't have an icon tainted with TEH GHAY!!

Surprised they didn't use John Stewart.

Oh god... how blatantly stereotypical can you get...? They seem to be really desperate for readers or something to pull this shit and not care, since it's all for the money.

That last preview-panel in the article... Just... *controls her usual 'surprise and disgust outbursts*
And, what kind of a weakness is 'wood'? Seriously? Fire DECIMATES wood! Or is there some kind of very subtle 'subliminal message' in that tidbit, that is making me think the otherwise of showing how much more of the 'gay is not manly' hidden message there? Because maybe I'm just tired, but I'm really interpreting it as that for some odd reason...

Like I said, DC can't tell me that they weren't laughing as they thought this shit up.

So not only are we into the fifth year of One More Day, not only are "the New 52" looking worse and worse all the time, but now Marvel and DC are trying to imitate Archie's recent success...and failing at it. This is like a market-wide version of the Clone Saga.

Whatever happened to Renee, anyway? I vaguely remember hearing that she's back to being a police officer instead of Question 2.0. I could live with either so long as she got some actual face time, but that seems sadly unlikely.

"Whatever happened to Renee, anyway?"

That's the $60,000 question.

um.......pardon the pun.

All I'm getting from these blatant Archie dick-riding is that I was right to walk away from comics when I did.

LAWD LAWD. We got a black president in the White House and DC and Marvel are ripping off Archie.

It's official ladies and gentlemen, HELL HAS FROZEN OVER!!!!!
