Madara left the base early so he could be at the Blood Moon before Sasuke arrived. He hadn't bothered to change his clothes, however, so he was kneeling at the table still dressed in his sharp black military uniform. Which was uncomfortable to say the least, but would probably make a good impression. The clean lines and honorable decorations of the modern uniform hardly suited him, however. It all looked extremely peculiar in contrast to his long, wild hair and a face that belonged to someone who should be far too young to hold such a high rank.

This tatami room, his favorite room in the club, was dimly lit so that Sasuke might not immediately notice how youthful he appeared. However, when he raised his head, the glow of his Sharingan made his identity unmistakable. And he found that Sasuke looked just as he had before.

What a relief. He was safe after all.

"Have a seat," Madara said, gesturing beside him. "I hope you don't mind this room. Given the circumstances, privacy is best, right?"

Sasuke looked as if things were fine, but in reality, he was almost completely unnerved. The glow of his sharingan showed power, strength...something much greater than Sasuke's. His eyes expressed experience, and something else he couldn't seem to place in the dim room. He sat across from Madara giving a slight nod in response, "I don't trust the posts online. They're too open."

Madara was much...different than he expected. The light made it difficult to tell for sure (if he could use the Sharingan all the time, he would), but he looked...younger? He'd barely known the man a few hours and he'd already surprised Sasuke more than any other people had met.

That could all be asked later. There were matters to be sorted out.

"...What is the Omega?"

It seemed Sasuke's temperament hadn't changed much, either. Obedient but not in the way a dog was. More like a soldier. Understanding of his situation. Madara liked that about him. He wasn't like Itachi, always quietly scheming and eager to betray. Sasuke understood the benefits of doing as he was told. And really, had Madara let him down yet?

He smiled. It was a rueful one, twitching with bitterness. "The Omega," he said, "is a government institution put in place after my reign as a prince of this lovely city came to an end. Or perhaps... because of my reign. Its agents are meant to keep order in the city-- rather, Alpha's vision of order

Sasuke's brow furrowed. Itachi had blinded him? And he...had been an experiment? Under the Omega. It unsettled him greatly. His lips pressed into a thin line. This is not something he wanted to hear. Sasuke's arms stayed at his side, despite the unease he felt through-out his whole body.

But the mention of...Itachi. That got more of a reaction out him than the fact he'd probably been brainwashed and sent on his way
