He hadn't meant to cause any trouble. Really, he hadn't! He was just minding his own business, strolling out to run some errands before he had to run to work, and he really hadn't intended to cause any trouble. But when he'd notice these weird silvery things scattered on the bushes he walked by, he couldn't help but pause, staring at them for a moment before poking at them and -- woah! They -- stuck! And dissolved. And for a moment, he stood there, shaking his hand, going "WOAH WOAH, GET OUT" before -- before --

he sort of didn't care? It was like a switch had flicked off, and he instead felt like he needed something. Something. What was it, what was it -- a fight. With anyone, anyone strong would be fine, but he really needed a brawl, right now, right here, he needed to fight with someone, he needed that thrill, that adrenaline rush, yeah, he just ( ... )

Kaaaan-chaaaaan. Normally he hated that nickname. All the old folks around Chinatown called him that and it made him feel like a stupid little girl but-- but right now it just sounded so adorable. Especially in that voice. That was Mikazuki, wasn't it? It'd been a while since the two of them had hung out, which was a real shame.

Kanji turned to face him as Mikazuki ran up. He didn't fail to notice that mischievous smile, although what crossed his mind at the sight of it wasn't an urge to fight but... oh, something else. "Mika-chan," he greeted in kind, the first time he'd ever called Mikazuki that for sure. "Nah, I'm not busy. Actually, mm... Now that you're here, I just got an idea. You wanna go somewhere, huh?" He was edging closer with every word. He just couldn't help himself. Mikazuki looked very cute today.

Mika-chan. No one had called him that before, it was usually just Mii-kun, or Mikazuki, for the stuffy people, but hey -- that just meant Kan-chan was in a good mood, right? And that was better, because if he was grumpy, then he probably wouldn't be very fun to brawl with, yeah? And Mikazuki didn't hear much of anything Kanji said past the first sentence, because the only thing that mattered was that Kanji wasn't busy.

Bouncing slightly on his feet, he shifted his balance, hands out of pockets and clenching into fists now -- god he just wanted to throw a punch -- and even his words were slightly more jittery than usual. "Go? Where? I mean, here is fine, it's not like there's many people around, right?" Another twitchy shifting of his weight, before he spread his arms out, hands open wide in a 'come on, let's go gesture.' "Sparring match. C'mon, you can't say no." The near-manic glint in his eye suggested that this match was going to happen, regardless of what answer Kanji gave.

His leather trench coat gently swayed to his casual steps. He had walked the street dead center and just a little slower than the average pedestrian's gait, provoking irritation from those who were forced to arc his figure in order to get ahead. He felt slightly melancholy after certain troubles related to the opposing gender. This world that had been crafted out of his whim had not been very forgiving to its creator in the romantic context, that's for sure. Ah, it wasn't like him to be so grumpy, Vino decided ( ... )
