It was cold, as clearly demonstrated by my hat. I was just really hot afterwards and didn't want to put on a coat. There's nothing wrong with how you are dressed.
Thank you! Tell that to your brother. Lucy I'm not so sure about.
So, Linus told me to come here and talk to you about possibly playing some piano on my first album? I mean, if it's alright, I'd like to hear what you've got first, but -- the guy that the company hired is .. alright, I guess, but. Not really my style.
But of course it's up to you, ultimately. [Smiles]
You're the one who is doing the studio album? Of course I would love to play on whatever tracks you need. I haven't heard your music, but I trust Linus' taste. I have two demo albums, one of my band and one solo. I could email the songs to you if you want.
I'm sorry, what's your name? Forgive my rudeness, I'm a bit excited.
[Laughs] If anything, I should be apologizing. I barged in without any kind of formality .. Hell, who am I kidding? I hate formalities.
Anyway, yeah. I'm the one. It's my first album, so I'm being kind of .. picky. You know? I can't help it. You can listen to some of the tracks I've recorded thanks to my MacBook here, a little bit more towards the bottom. The quality will obviously be better on an honest-to-God album, but yeah. You can get a feel for it there. I play the piano and drums, but I realized after my first session that .. I can't do the guitar, the piano, the drums, and the singing if I want to live long enough to see it done. Which is why I'm trying to get other people involved.
And yeah, that'd be great, if you could email me those songs. Do you stick with a band mainly?
[Laughs again] James Carlisle, technically. But like I said, I hate formalities. J is more than enough.
Formalities have their time and place, but I don't think this is it. *grins*
I can definitely understand being picky. I know that I am probably overly so about my music, but it's my own creation so of course I want it to be good. Great even. I can only imagine that you're the same way.
I prefer to play the piano and keyboards, but with the band it's not needed as much so I play it when it's required but not as often as I'd like. With the band I do guitar and vocals. I'll send you the songs straight away.

Aw, you don't want my sister there at your shows? Cheering you on? *snorts* I'll spread the word, don't worry, Schro.

She wouldn't cheer me on, that's the thing. You know how it is.

Good to meet you, J. I'm Schroeder.
