Celebrating Black Women
It's no secret that I have nothing but love for my women of color. I've been outspoken on many a day about the misogyny and racism they're subjected to too often and have caught a lot of heat for defending them and standing in solidarity with them.
It should also come as no surprise that black women have a special place in my heart. Not just because of the ones who are in my family, but the beautiful, powerful and intelligent ones who have blessed my life by entering it over the years.
Over on Tumblr, one thing I quickly took stock of is that I'm frequently reblogging amazing portraits of beautiful black women. Each of them range in style and look but one thing is undeniable....they're all goddesses.
