Bodyworlds

Went to see Bodyworlds at the California Scence Center today. Why is this extra credit for Kevin's biology class but not for my courses?

Funny thing: I actually had to get a "sketch pass" which involved filling out a powerless form and getting a pink sticker with today's date handwritten on it ( TO BRING YOU THIS. )

I hope Bodyworlds comes back to Toronto some day. The science center is one of the few cool places close to me in the city.

The second to last picture totally reminds me of my own life drawing experiences back in high school. You look and look at the model or the angle and you still don't know why it's like that, and you think it should look any other way than that.

Well, aside from the fact that it's upside down it wasn't so much I didn't know why it was like that, rather I didn't know what the hell that was. ^^; The latissimus dorsi goes up around the clavicle? Really?

The great thing about the exhibition is that you get to see muscles in positions and angles that you never see in textbooks.
