Absolutely amazing. Very detailed, well thought out look at the wizarding world, muggle/wizarding tensions, the reality of living in a claustraphobic little boarding school within a claustraphobic little society. And the balancing act Hermione has to play between conflicting interests: being part of the war, school life, growing up, the changing dynamics between the trio, dealing with her family and just generally her place in the world.

Very intense, angsty. Really pulls out the empty, frustration line that the Winklevi and Divya had in the movie. I like the insights, through Tyler, into Cameron. And Tyler was an engaging narrator as well. There's something about the dynamic between those three that is weridly endearing despite all the angst, and the writer has really nailed that.

But, well, getting Raylan and Boyd into bed together is always going to ask for some selective reading of their canon characters.

HAHA yes. This is just lovely. I enjoy fics that deal with Tarsus, and the way it shaped Jim. And I absolutely adore these extended family network style fics. Love the idea of the Kelvin crew 'adopting' Jim. (Um, excerpt may be misleaeding, Amanda is not main charac, I just thought it was funny. It's actually Vulcan OC and Jim POV).

I don't even watch V, but this was totally awesome. Neatly playing the two women against eachother, quality vidding in terms of technique, clip choice etc. A vid this good, familiarity with the source isn't necessary, the vid tells all.

This is my latest 'rewatch to death' vid. It keeps making me grin. The opening section, muscles, “working my strut.” Love the editing at about 1.00-1.05. And more grins at “girls in stripper heels.” All that writhing naked in the underworld, mmmmm. 2.38 onwards with Rahl in that hooded cloak, closeness, Rahl's O face, apple, almost kiss. Death by slash, basically. And then ending with the boxes of Orden and hitting my powerless!kink dead on, twice over. With the last time being the bad guy winning? Seriously. This vid UNDOES ME.
