On some of the open questions: If Pam created a vamp, I have doubt about her chosing Lafayette... she doesn't seem too crazy about him and only bothers at all under Eric's orders. Eric's the one that's using LaF as a side project. I suspect Pam would lean towards siring a female vamp, same as her sexual preferences.
Jason on Crystal... he's a junkie himself, although usually more on bad choices than drugs. He's probably trying to "save" her, the same way guys try to reform hookers they've fallen in love with, and being used the whole time.
Summer's dolls - my pet theory is that they're voodoo dolls! XD
With Pam and Laffy I just noticed that she was really amused by him most of the time and kind of intrigued by the idea of him being turned at the beginning of season 2.
But, yeah, Jason - you're right, although HE should have a Summer to tell him what to do. It would keep him away from V-junkies, crime, terrorist churches and junkie-shifters with incestuos links. It's not like Jason can look out for himself.
Welcome, fellow Tara/Jason shipper. *lol* I've hoped since season 1 that they would be the "one day" couple. Maybe they'll go there, we'll see...
And yeah, Nan, Pam, Eric and the others should get more screen time instead of Milf Maenads, Crystal, Tommy and all this shifter stuff. It's "TrueBlood" after all, not "Supernatural - everything you can squeeze in". I love Bon Temps, all of it, but I would love to see more of the political stuff, more of Jessica and Beel's family stuff (instead of Sssucky/Beel) and maybe Laffayette. The show is just going TOO heavy on white-trash-stories lately!
I knew I missed something in Ruby Jeans comment. Okay, I know her quote is supposed to be cute, but in this case I think it's offensive.
I do love Jason being a cop, or whatever his job is now, I love him living with Hoyt, being there for Sookie - but Crystal sucks! I'd never have thought I'd say this, but: Jason is WAY to good for this girl.
And you're right, the scene with Laffayette is still sweet. At least she is totally supportive of their relationship from the start, in a strange way, it's very lovely.
Sam... I don't dislike him, I'm just bored with him. And it's very weak of him to do whatever Tommy challenges him to do. It's that situation where a character's masculinity is questioned and for some reason they always have to beat someone up after it --- Just hope Sam doesn't lose his license.
Since you commented on my recap, I'MMA COMMENT ON YOURS.
Open Questions! (My opinion. Which is probably not what the writers are thinking.) a) If Lady Gaga ever did a guest spot on True Blood I think I would die from sheer happiness. b) Well, Alan Ball is gay. Maybe that has something to do with it. c) Hopefully soon, because I do love Sookie, except when she's being stupid over BEEEEL. d) I really really REALLY want Pam to make Tara or Lafayette into a vamp. CAN YOU IMAGINE TEH BADASS. Also, I really don't want Holly to be evil. I LIKE HER. e) Trash is as trash does. f) MAXINE FORTENBERRY NEVER STOPS. g) I'm in it for the epic bitching and hate-sex. They could go shoe shopping and snark together. IT WOULD BE AMAZING.
Actually, you're right about Maxine. She does get involved in Hoyt/Summer and their relationship, I've read that on the summaries for the next episodes!
In percentages there are already too many gay characters on TrueBlood. How likely is it that... oh, well, Sophie is only gay for this century and the last, she might get bored of it again. And Nan might be bisexual. Or Jesus. We actually don't know that. I just find it strange that vamps are supposed to be omnisexual, but the only one who shows that is Eric. Jessica has always been straight, Pam is super gay, everyone's sooo decided, it's weird.
