Also, you're welcome.

If you want some really fucked up Star Trek stuff, google around for how the 2009 movie fits into the continuity.

Apparently the move starts 8 years after Nemesis.

But then I'd have to admit Nemesis existed...

ZOMG you haven't been an Alton Brown fan already?!?!?!

*keels over dead away*

You MUST MUST watch more of Good Eats! :) That's one of those cooking shows I *always* recommend to people. :)

Everyone has been telling me this for years.

Now, I get it. :)

Oh man... "The Way to Eden." It's so weird to think Charles Napier made "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" maybe nine months later.

Yeah. He's popped up in so many places since as the hard-line military guy who won't take guff from anyone...and then you go back and watch Adam sing and make that blond Afro wiggle, and it's just too hysterical for words.

Vegie sushi yes yes yes.
I call it sushi too because that's what we call it in Western countries, but if you want to get really accurate, those seaweed rolls? They're called temaki. Literally: "hand roll". As in, rolled with the hands.
Sushi includes them (I think) and all sorts of other vinegared-rice-with-something-on-top combinations.

Normal vegetarian fillings in Japan:
Kappa maki (cucumber roll), kampyo maki (dried pickled gourd roll), ume maki (pickled salty plum roll), daikon maki (pickled yellow radish roll), natto maki (fermented soybean roll)

Not normal in Japan but still good:
Omelette, cucumber and mayonnaise
Marinated tofu, carrot and capsicum
Tempeh and lettuce

Got more?
