anarchist_love wants this phone. Feh. This is how out of step I am with the rest of my world--I want this phone.

Of course, did you know that Japanese technicians have finally made reality Gibson's bone phone? Yep ( Read more... )

Scary Grandma is Baba Yaga incarnate. I'm getting addicated to these insane fashion pictures.

Note, by the way, that the skeleton fetus has a crown on its head. It's a royal fetus and that is SPECIAL. And can I gank that picture from you to show off to people?

Sure. I got it from the Seattle Post-Intelligencer's fashion page, so credit it back to them or at least to the photographer who snapped the shot.

And yeah, royal baby t-shirt, to honor the forthcoming royal baby. Let's just hope they're not prophesying the baby actually being born dead.

Wait, there really is a particular royal baby? Which royalty are you talking about?

There's something wrong when you're listening to the songs on your .mp3 player, and you're having trouble making out the words, and it suddenly occurs to you that's because they're not in English. And this is maybe the tenth or eleventh time you've heard the song.

That sounds like some bands I listen to, as well (and they sing in English)!

I think that would unnerve me more--the fact that I can't make out the words, and they're singing in a language I speak! :)

I came up as a Socialist too.

Freaky detatched hand picture - here's a scary thought, what if those are some kind of drop through pocket on the side..or maybe it is new form of handcuffing the model?

Fish boy - what? the fish shirt and Marti Gras shades weren't enough, so they had to send him down the runway holding a fish. *giggles*

The skeleton shirt isn't as creepy as the hands copping a feel in the last picture.

You may be right. Besides, what kind of mind creates detached-hand fashion?

Dahmerwear--coming to a mall near you!

It's just wrong.

This is somewhere else. I maintain two Yahoo Groups accounts--one "real", and one I use for stealth poking about. The one for stealth poking about has gone onto several pagan lists--and left them about as quick--without ever being connected to the main account. That particular account is still stealthily subbed in to the SPA list, back in Spokane.

Apparently my stealth alter-ego? Still lives there. :)

No, it probably weighs more than a filing cabinet...full. But yes, I do want that phone. Actually, I'm just not that hip on cell phones. I like land lines. I like interesting phones. I like French princess handsets and old-style candlestick phones and repro pay phones from the early 1900's...I'm pretty much out of step with my century. :)

Ah, but I'm already more interesting than other people. At times, you know, it would be very pleasing to be dull. And normal. Never gonna be, so it's the thing I long for at times.

Not enough to, y'know, start exercising like a mad fiend, attending church and shaving the beard...but just to angst over, now and again. :)
