Grandad

My grandad is in intensive care in a coma. He had the flu and last night, he got some fluid in his lungs and asphyxiated. They've shut off almost all the machines, so it's just a matter of time and I'll probably be in Kansas on Saturday for a funeral

Thanks, Laura. *huggles* It seems like I'm getting to that time in life where all that big stuff happens -- just today, not fifteen minutes after I called mom back and heard Grandad had died, my friend Christine told me that she was getting married in August and that her friend was having her first baby! It's pretty astounding stuff, that ol' cycle of life. ^_^
