As it turns out, at the time I was writing my previous entry, he had already passed away. He died at 8:40am CST in the hospital with Grammy and Uncle Bill present. I'm not sure if I should call Grammy or not; I have no idea what I would say or even if she'd be up to talking, but maybe she'd benefit from knowing that I heard about it and I care, ( Read more... )

My grandad is in intensive care in a coma. He had the flu and last night, he got some fluid in his lungs and asphyxiated. They've shut off almost all the machines, so it's just a matter of time and I'll probably be in Kansas on Saturday for a funeral ( Read more... )
