Tasty, tasty food

I've been cooking delicious things lately. Yahoo! I made sesame chicken bundles last week, and we're having them again tonight -- chicken breast halves resting on a blend of cream cheese, soy sauce, garlic, and sesame seeds, all wrapped in puff pastry dough and baked until it's byewwwww-tee-ful. SO GOOD. Last weekend I made cream cheese dill ( Read more... )

My gym resolve only works because it's incredibly easy to fit into my day. I go between my job getting out at 5:00 and me getting Dan at 6:20ish. The gym is halfway between our 2 workplaces, so it'd be more of a pain for me to go home, then schlep all the way out.

I guess maybe... find a place really, really ridiculously good-looking, I mean close to go work out?

Unforch, we're leaving for NC Saturday morning and not getting back until mega late Sunday night. My cousin is graduating from law school

Re: the gym, forget about other people! Seriously, pretend they're not there and go 'head and sweat your heart out. Everybody there is going to turn red and stinky anyway. It's a gym, that's what it's for. ^_^

Tuesday I had free time before work, so I biked to market, spent almost all my money on food staples, came home and cooked up a storm with food for days!

Then I wasn't very hungry.

Oh well. I guess this extends the length of time my tasty food will last! It's not as tasty as yours tho.

Isn't it funny how that happens? Yeah, when I cook for a long time, I tend to not be terribly hungry by the time it's ready to eat. (Not because I'm nibbling as I go, though, honest). :-)

I'm the same way! Saturday night I stayed up late baking for our big Mothers Day/Aunt Carol's 50th B-day/William's 2nd B-day/Lindsay's 25th B-day Bash and after all that work and time, the big day comes and I just can't bring myself to eat dessert! I didn't eat that much for lunch- I just wasn't interested! And you know how much junk food I can normally pack away... I think the sugar and stuff sorta gets into my system and I FEEL like I've eaten a lot even though I've barely nibbled ( ... )

I think you might be onto something there! Like, you spend an hour getting butter and eggs on your fingers, inhaling sugar dust and flour. Maybe by the end, your system is like, "Okay, this is no longer interesting." Did you take pics of your cake? It sounds ADORABLE. I think it sounds quite fancy AND schmancy.

and omg, you can totally cook like me. It's not really very hard. The best part is browning the chicken in butter; the smell that fills the kitchen is AMAZING, kind of nutty and delicious. I'll send you recipes, iffen you want ^_^

I like snapfish as a photo-sharing site. You can't share photos without a password, though, so I have a generic password I share with all my friends. I like it mainly becaues the prints are cheap if you decide to order them.

(If you decide to sign up for snapfish, you can let me or someone else already on it know first -- we get free prints if we refer you!)
