I am in an advanced chorus class at my college, called Variations.Three years ago the president of the college got enough sponsers to allow the group to go to Paris to sing places. They actually got to sing IN Notre Dame. Mr. Brewer told us that he said "God, if you want to take me now, I would die a happy man...But then I would not have been able

Second of all, I'm sorry about your mother. I know what it's like to have a sick mother--mine has some diseases that has no cure, too, and she has to be on meds for the rest of her life. She was REALLY bad for a while when I was a teenager, and if she hadn't gotten put on meds, she would probably be dead now. I know how hard it can be on the family, too, so I hope you are doing okay right now.
So exciting about Hungary! And learning phrases! Don't forget the all important 'where is the bathroom?' ;)

And thank you for the sympathies. It started when I was about...hmmmm...7? When the Dr. told her they were going to look for zebras, and they found blood clots in her lungs...pretty much gone downhill from there...but I think it has givin me a pretty unique perspective on life, especially at my age, so I am a little grateful. It is one of those things that you wish had not happened, but are sort of glad it did. So even though I had to grow up before I needed to, I can understand things that most people cannot. I am soo sorry about your mama. I know how hard it is, and during your teenage years, no less, must have been so difficult for you.
But YAY! THANK YOU for the reminder of that phrase! I probably would have forgotten...^-^'

I've never been anywhere outside of North America before, so I'm thrilled for you to get that experience!
And your Mama sounds like an AMAZING woman! It takes a certain kind of bravery to face each day when it's your own body against you. **huggles**
I hope for the best on both counts. Safe and fun trip and your Mama getting home soon!

Me either! I have been to Canada for a Hindu/Christian wedding, and Mexico because I lived near there, but never outside North America!!!! My mama and daddy lived in England for three years so they got to visit places, but I was born after they moved back.
She really is an amazing person. I am soo blessed to have someone who is willing to fight for the three of us, because she loves us so much. And I tell her that and she brushes it off...I don't think she has ever considered herself brave...But I do! X3
And Thank You too! I am hoping for the best as well!

and thank you! I hope so too but I also hope she can convince the doctor to let her stay in the hospital, if she feels not so good, because she is on disability now and it is not a race to get out of the hospital like it was when TennCare dropped her and no other insurance would take her.
X3 I am soooo excited though!!!!
