kitty update-ish

Phoenix seems to be doing quite fine. We've been watering him twice a week, and I've learned that warming up the sub-Q fluids really does help a lot - room temp, he does quite a jump when they start flowing, body-ish temp he doesn't. Also, having the needle whipping around squirting out water is more pleasant when it's warm. (He's jerked it out ( Read more... )

Would cat pee work? And would it work to just leave some litter clumps under your car in the driveway?

I've thought of that. I'm really not sure; there are outdoor (and indoor/outdoor) neighborhood cats around already. We currently use clumping cat litter, which turns to slime if it gets really wet (rained on), so we'd have to change the type litter we use if we wanted to go that route.
