One overdue stroke, one premature death

So, last week I got the news that my grandfather, at 89 years old, had a stroke. He was quite active until a few years ago - just had some vision problems and various surmountable old-people problems. But he's been going downhill, and the stroke was probably overdue. Thanks. Gramps is handling it well, I'm told, and is in good spirits. (Who wouldn't be, it's 1956!)

It happens. My grandpa was a strong guy and good role model, we knew it was coming, I'm at peace about it. Eric though - it was just a little too soon.
