I soo didn't like Owen either but then he grew on me. And despite hooting for Ianto/Jack, my guilty pleasure is Jack/Gwen because they are SO HOT! And I really love Gwen. I do. And Rhys. I looove Rhys (despite the fact that Gwen and Jack are so meant).
I'm kinda counting on Owen growing on me, since I liked him more at the end of Series 1 than at the start. Heee! Oh yes, there were some very very strong Jack/Gwen vibes *nods* Rhys... oh yes. He's such a quiet presence but his influence on Gwen is rather huge, isn't it?
:-) Rhys has a huge influence, yeah but then again, I get why Jack always pushes her towards him. Because she needs something normal to ground her and to keep her from going insane, I think. So yeah Rhys has some influence, but I think Jack's is bigger on her. Wait til you get to S2, then you'll see what I mean I hope :-)
It's very obvious that her shift in priorities has gone quite a bit from Rhys to Torchwood *nods* And yes, Rhys keeps her grounded and shows her some of the more 'normal' things she needs aside from her TW work.
I'm going to try to start watching Ten's 2nd season this week and after that it'll be TW s2 :D
