Thought I would share some pics of my dude at the cottage this weekend - he loves splashing along the shore, but won't go in if he can't touch. Click on any of the pictures for full size.

I didn't know you had a cottage... where is it? Wait, did you say by the Kawarthas? I can't remember...

What is the exact breed of your puppy? Is he a purebred Husky or are their different breeds of this type? He's beautiful! How old is he?

It's in Quebec, on Otter Lake. I love it up there, it's the family cottage.

He's a husky, we think he's pure, but we found him on the cottage road 2 years ago at Thanksgiving, someone had abandoned him. The vet figures he's about 3 now.

Some people are so cruel! But I'm glad we have him.

Oh yes, I see it. The lure he uses to draw in his unsuspecting prey. That, along with that face! So cute. Therein lies the trap!...;)

You've figured him out! I'll try to get a pic of him cowering away from my 6lb Siamese just to add to the harmless pup illusion he's got going on.

AWWWW. He looks like the assistance dog that I wanted!

Heh - I couldn't imagine a husky as an assistance dog! They are generally quite willful and stubborn. Are you still waiting for your dog? My neighbour across the street got her Finnigan about 2 years ago and she has made a huge difference for her.
