After eating her fill of sandwiches and checking her voicemail, Dawn headed back out.

There may have been eye rolling as she knocked on Xander's door.

Xander put an argument between the homeowner and the carpenter about whether it was possible to build a jungle-gym in her basement (it was, but not on that budget) on mute, and answered the door. "Hey, Dawn."

"Hi, so, Mel's in jail." No sense beating around the bush.

"She end up killing something somebody thought was human?" Xander asked, already reaching for his coat.
