Once he'd arrived there, a quick search determined that Xander wasn't in the apartment. And so Bridge settled in to wait, sliding down into a sitting position against the wall near the door. As soon as he hears the key rattling in the doorknob, he's up like a shot, pouncing on Xander before the door's even shut all the way.

Xander's not about to turn that down after having spent the whole weekend wondering and worrying. He's not even about to let go anytime soon. "You're okay? You're okay." He sounds like he's reassuring himself of that, as much as he is asking."
