Well I have been trying to get a promotion at work and I finally got it. I figured I was already doing the job, so I might as well get the raise and my weekends off. Now I just need to get someone to fill my old position, so that I won't be so overworked. 

I just started this journal and I have never been good at this sort of thing. I wanted to try to improve my writing though so I thought I would try this and see how things go. I usually go blank when I look at a page and have no idea what I want to write about. However I guess I have found something to say.
