I know I'm preaching to the choir. But it needs to be said in written form, and if I'm ever going to write my Grand American Polemic, in the aphoristic style, I need to start writing it in earnest. So, discussions like these help me get some of it on paper so that I can edit and shape the thoughts later.

I miss you, too. We'll ahve to see about meeting over a beer around one of these coming holidays.
