As if Crunchyroll didn't have enough
new titles this Spring, they've now added two more. The first is the "La Corda D'Oro ~secondo passo~" special, along with the original "La Corda D'Oro ~primo passo~" anime series that aired a few years back.
The other series is this Spring's second Gonzo title (behind Saki) called "Shangri-La." Based on a Japanese novel by Eiichi Ikegami, the story involves global warming turning Tokyo into a tropical series. Best of all, it features character designs by the amazing Range Murata (Last Exile, Robot). Should prove to be awesome.
Speaking of Gonzo titles, FUNimation has signed a deal with them to stream all their current & future works. They kicked off the deal by adding the first few eps of Tower of Druaga & Blassreiter, which they recently
licensed for DVD release. Of course, none of this is
new to the interwebs. Maybe they'll be streaming Shangri-La & Saki as well?
Finally, because no new episode of Naruto Shippuden aired this week in Japan, those who wait a week to get the free episodes would have to wait two weeks for the upcoming one-hour special. So to prevent this, the special will be streamed free to everyone next Friday, right after it premieres in Japan.
