Yesterday at noon Eastern time, AZN Television
went off-air after many years of broadcasting. I felt the network should be mentioned one last before disappearing into oblivion. It should be noted that the network went out without screwing anime fans, something that's hard to come by these days. AZN had a rotating anime schedule, & late last month they begun rerunning
MoonPhase, the final anime series that they'd be showcasing. Of course being 26 episodes long, there wasn't enough time for the series to be shown at AZN's regular pace of 3 episodes per week.
But as I said, they decided not to screw over anime fans (like me, who had never seen the full run of the series before now) by going out of their way & putting in the extra effort to finish the series properly. By running marathons & putting in extra days, they managed to air the final episode of MoonPhase this past Tuesday, the last full day of AZN Television. So I just wanted to be the one to say thank you. Thank you, AZN (& International Channel before it). Thank you for providing us with quality anime & other programming over these past years. We greatly appreciated it, & will remember you fondly for it.
