It was a quiet panel for Viz Media at Anime Expo, as they didn't announce a single new license. The only real new info was that every third volume during the
Naruto manga blitz later this year will contain exclusive stickers. The other news is that Viz is interested in having Death Note air on Adult Swim, but no arrangements have been confirmed yet.
Speaking of which, the first volume of Death Note will go on sale on November 20 in both standard & limited edition versions. The limited edition box will include a Ryuk figure. The first dozen or so episodes of Death Note have already been
released online by Viz in subbed form for $1.99 per episode. The complete released dates for all the titles announced at the panel can be seen below:
- Brave Story (novel)- August
- Tekkonkinkreet collected re-issue (manga) - September
- Gyo (manga) - October
- Dragon Sword and Wind Child (novel) - October
- Uzumaki (manga) - October
- Death Note (anime) - November 20th
- Sand Chronicles (manga) - January
