For Mother's Day weekend we posted part of the beautiful song "Bratja" from NebsTV's FullMetal Alchemist on our splash page. It was originally sung in Russian & used many times throughout the series in its original language. But awhile back Vic Mignogna, the dub voice of Ed, was asked to sing a translated version of the song. Now I met Vic 2 years ago at ACen 2005, & I can verify that he is a huge fan of the series (his FullMetal Fantasy video is proof enough, although according to this year's ACen he got in a lot of trouble for it). So it's no surprise that he agreed to do it.

Technically the song is sung by 2 different people playing the parts of 2 brothers, so it would have been cooler if Al's VA could have somehow voiced the other part of it as well. Instead though we have Vic singing the whole thing, but it works well enough. He's a good singer & does an excellent job singing the adaptation. So make sure to enjoy this music video of it, & a happy belated Mother's Day!
