For Mother's Day weekend we posted part of the beautiful song "Bratja" from NebsTV's FullMetal Alchemist on our splash page. It was originally sung in Russian & used many times throughout the series in its original language. But awhile back Vic Mignogna, the dub voice of Ed, was asked to sing a translated version of the song. Now I met Vic 2

Vic got in trouble for Fullmetal Fantasy? To my knowledge he didn't come into problems making it or showing it at conventions....

I thought last year the brouhaha was about some of his Rangers trying to pay for Vic's plane ticket and accomodations for ACen (after ACen announced that Vic wasn't on the guest list)...

This was according to the FMA fan panel this weekend. But I agree, I hadn't heard anything about Vix getting in trouble over it before this either. Last I heard, him & FUNi sent it over to Japan in hopes of it being an extra on a DVD.

Oh wow, he got in trouble for that? o_o That kinda explains why I haven't seen anything about it since then. ;; I was there at ACEN too, two years ago, and Fullmetal Fantasy was definitely a treat for the fans; it's nice to see voice actors who are so into the series they're taking part in.

...Also, hi! =D It's Linka, from that GX panel. ^^ I hope you enjoyed ACEN as much as I did, and I'm glad I got to meet you.

Well according to some people anyway. I hadn't heard anything about it before. I'd like to see it again though, & I agree that it's good to have actors like Vic who really enjoy their roles so much. ^^
