IkkiTousen/Koihime Collaboration Launch
"Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is one of the greatest works of Asian literature of all time. A long & complex novel written in the 14th Century, the story focuses on historical events & mighty warriors. & TWICE in the past decade the story has been adapted into anime series where the characters are now females with gigantic breasts who often are found in an erotic state of undress. These anime are better known as IkkiTousen & Koihime Musou. & for the first time, both franchises will have new seasons airing at the same time- IkkiTousen: Xtreme Xecutor (season four) & Shin Koihime Musou: Otome Tairan (season three) will both be airing this Spring season in April.
So in honor of this rare occasion, the official IkkiTousen website has launched a special collaboration page for the two series. Quite surprising that the two have decided to team up to promote each other rather than go against each other, considering they have nothing in common production wise. Currently the site only hosts an amusing flash interaction between the characters, trailers for both new series, & the promise of a mini-game coming soon. This actually isn't the first time the two series have been compared to each other. Megami Magazine previously wrote an article comparing the characters of the same name in both title. Needless to say, this Spring should prove to be interesting... & a lot of fun!
