So, apparently I have the opportunity to go home for Thanksgiving. Advantage: real Thanksgiving dinner with family versus probably Lean Cuisine frozen turkey at home alone. For my birthday, a couple of my friends took me out to see Brandi Carlile at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd. HOLY GOD, that was amazing. In San Diego at the SIGGRAPH Sandbox conference. Warren Spector is giving a keynote about emergent gameplay and how cool it is when players figure out how to break your game. He's going on about the moral dimension of gameplay and our responsibility to interactivity.
