Summer in Familiarity (Pt. One)

I'm still not finished with the rotation, but I figure this is going to take more than one post so I'll go ahead and get started.  Not sure how many houses I'll cover at any one go but just to get a general idea of the size of the town at the moment here's a picture of Familiarity in all it's boringness showing the total 'playable' households.

Wow, I envy your ability to keep all those houses straight - I'm working on a hood I play everyone in at the moment and on gen 4 I'm beginning to realise quite how confusing it can be!

Great to see the whole hood though, they look like a load of fun to play.

Question: where did you get the unlockable alien eyes? That sounds like something I'd enjoy having around my own hoods.

I try to stick to a fairly strict rotation so that I can keep everyone in order. Then I keep notecards for each sim that I can hopefully pull out when I want/need information on them.

Pixel and Bean here at LJ
has the alien eye fix along with a mod to unlock all skintones so that townies can be generated with alien or zombie skin tones.

Aww... So many great families :) And parties!

My 2nd gen born-in-game sims is growing up right now and I understand the need to have notes about each sim. I only have 40 sims in the hood and I barely manage to keep track of them :D

Thanks for the 'alien eyes' link - I've seen it mentioned before but I haven't seen any links before (maybe because I'm lazy...).

It bugged me so much when my gen three's didn't have the alien eyes that they were supposed to so when I found that mod I quickly downloaded it. It's surprising me occasionally who's popping up with the eyes at this point.

When I'm playing my sims I know who they are but even once I get to another lot I sometimes have to check my notes to remember what it is about such and such sim that's visiting. The alien Dreamer boys are the worst though cause they are identical in looks that even with different makeovers I'm always okay which one that?

I hear you on the identical looking ones - in my hood I have three guys with more or less the same face (two brothers and their uncle). Different make overs help, but I do need to double check sometimes :)
