We had to take Sammy to the vet this last week. He has been in alot of pain lately, panting, whining and laying very still. The vet said he is very arthritic and this is what is probably causing his pain. They gave us rimadyl for the pain. I had the big math test yesterday! This math test was on drug calculations. Most of the problems were IV calculations some conversions and tube feedings. My nephew passed away today. He was 30-years-old and had been battling non hodgkins lymphoma. He was first diagnosed when he was 19, went through chemo and radiation. The lymphoma went into remission for 10 years. Last year it came back with a vengence. Well, I have been working at St. Anne's Guest home for almost a month now, so far so good. I pass meds to the residents. It is a long process but has gotten easier over time. All the residents are very nice and I enjoy chatting with them when they come for their meds. I work 32 hours a week 1230pm to 830pm. I do not mind this shift at all. I get up ( Read more... )

I cant believe it! I started a job at the psych hospital, things were going good, then shit started hitting the fan. People are leaving right and left. One of the physicians had his license to prescribe meds to adolescents suspended for over sedation. Then are census has dropped to 17 inpatients and they are cutting our shifts every week.
