I ship Gibbs/Kate - I really don't know why, maybe just from the first episode and the fun of having them trapped in the toilet together on the plane - maybe its because they did actually flirt alot and I never saw anywhere she would have fit into a lovers relationship.

I never really watched the first seasons, but when I did I have to admit I did like Gibbs/Kate! They did flirt, and I loved that bit where she fell on top of him in the submarine [I forget what the episode was called].

Sub Rosa - one of my favourite scenes. I'm aware that he has a similar flirting relationship with Abby and now Ziva, but there was just something between Kate and Gibbs that always snagged my attention.

I have to admit, I do ship just about everything XD Tiva, McGiva, McAbby, Kibbs, Kari, Zibbs, Gabby, Tate, McKate, Jibbs, Jony... Ah I love the way they all have shipper names! But I mainly ship Tiva, McAbby, Jibbs and McGiva although I've recently been converted to Zibbs. Yay for multi-shipping!

Well, I separate my shipping into two categories: Ships for the actual show and ships in the fandom.

Personally, I'd rather not see any pairings on the show, at least not amongs the team. I feel that the show works so well with just the teasing and flirting and I'd hate for it to stop being about the charatcers and become a show about someone's relationship (which I fear would happen if two of the team members began actually dating). The only characters on the show that I'd actually ship would be Vance and his wife (and maybe Ducky and Dr. Hampton)

In fandom, though, anything goes. I tend to write more gen fics than anything else, but I've been known to dabble in McGiva (probably my favorite pairing), McAbby, McNozzo, and Gibbs/Shannon. I'll read almost any pairing, though I've grown quite fond of McKate and Tony/Faith Coleman (now that's a pairing I'd love to see on the show!)

Yay for McGiva! I agree about it stopping and just being about relationships, I don't want NCIS to turn into some... soap or something. McKate is sweet, too.

I agree with you on the show stuff, I wouldn't actually want to see it happen, but the fun of them flirting and teasing is always nice to watch.

I don't know if I'd like it if they got into a serious relationship... I'm not sure. I guess I'm used to the teasing and the flirting. Although I miss the way Ziva flirted with all the guys in S3, there's tons more tension and a little less teasing. Dang.

I agree with schizophrenic0 that I don't particularly want to see any pairing become canon on the show, because I have no faith in TPTB to not screw it up. (Although, I was fine with the McGee/Abby, so maybe

I love Tony/Ziva! And McAbby, and I agree with Jibbs, Kari and Kibbs. I do ship McGiva and Zibbs though too.

I miss the banter between Tony and Ziva! It was so entertaining! I loved the bit about the sperm bank in Probie XD

I adore the banter. When Twilight aired, I was beyond pissed that TPTB had killed Kate. This ended up being slightly tempered by the knowledge that Sasha had wanted to leave the show, but I was still irked when Season 3 premiered. I was predisposed to dislike whoever tried to fill Kate's shoes. Then, I met Ziva. I loved how she interacted with the others, even as she had her ulterior motive. I liked that instead of responding with Kate's typical prudery (not exactly the word I want, but it'll do) and dismissal of Tony when he said things, Ziva gave as good as she got.

I love that aspect of Ziva/the show. I know a lot of people enjoy serious/character-centric shows, but I just want a continuation of the humor/banter. :) I actually think that they've been doing a pretty good job of it (for all characters) this season.

I started watching from Season 5 [in England] and I bought the S3 and 4 DVDs so I could catch up, but I only recently started watching S1 and 2. I loved Ziva from the very beginning, but I realized that Kate was just as awesome, and readjusted to fit in Tate, McKate and Kibbs. I think I first watched Twilight, and then Sub Rosa, and I fell in love with Kibbs ♥

I think they're doing very well this season! I'm even more hooked than I was before!!!

Oh, I must second the love for Ziva/Damon and Ziva/Roy! I loved that Damon recognized her body in the dark (making me wonder what they'd been up to the past couple of years XD). And Roy was just so sweet! I kind of wished he'd lived :(

I wonder exactly the same about Damon and Ziva. I mean, you don't recognize in the dark the body/the voice of someone you just met two years ago... And for more info: someone you know being totally sick and not in your right mind/someone you talked just once

I think you bring up an interesting point about Damon and how he relates to Ziva. She probably understood him better than anyone else on the team, evident by her impassioned speech to Abby.

I don't really "ship" anyone in the show (unless shipping can include slash, in which case it's a moot point anyway.) I don't want any shipping on the show, as I would think that ruin all the dynamics we've come to treasure.

That being said...
I would choose McGee/Ziva as my main ship in fandom. They look good together, and I think they have a lot of potential that needs exploring.
