Yay it worked.

I was going to be so mad if LJ stuffed up this post. It took forever. I didn't realise we knew so much.

Now as to 'Love Story' - since that synopsis just came out today and I want to talk about it.

Aaron (Zak Orth) faces death, yet again.

It sounds like my 'Danny dies again, but it's okay coz he's immortal' prompt from the three sentence meme. Is this a new recurring theme. Aaron dies every episode?

And that was Ben right? In the new Syfy promo. Aaron crouching over a dead/dying Ben? HEE.

Also, Aaron's crazy this season. Okay. If it makes him more interesting...why not. Just stop killing him, show.

...oh and I love that we're getting a journalist (Bonnie) - what's post-apocalyptic journalism look like? What do you write about? The jerks who turned the power off? The jerks who turned the world into a civil war movie? The jerks who turned the power on, then off, and royally screwed everything? Or How badly you miss air conditioning and chocolate?

WOW, again, you are amazing for doing all that work. We do know a lot! (Thanks to you!)

Or How badly you miss air conditioning and chocolate?
OMG, you don't know how many times I've thought about the latter while watching this show. I eat chocolate everyday. I'd be devastated without it.

I had to squeal over this:
Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) makes a valiant attempt to rescue Miles (Billy Burke) and to escape with an ailing Tribesman’s wife,
I ship it. It delights me. I don't really have anything else to say about it except: Rachel finds Miles all tied up and bloody and they snarf each other up. And I SQUEAL. Also any time I see Tim Guinee's name I squeal.

Aaron dies every episode?
Hilarious. It would be like South Park and Kenny. I'm on board.

And that was Ben right? In the new Syfy promo. Aaron crouching over a dead/dying Ben? HEE.
Really? I don't have time to rewatch, but I'm so excited to see Ben develop more as a character. Along those lines, this excites me:

Meanwhile, Monroe (David Lyons) has discovered a gritty role in ( ... )

I have an obsessive personality...and I like things to be done right, annnnnnd I'm kinda celebrating my freedom from my essay, by just being all fandom all the time today. Because yesterday was hell a hell which I caused *rolls eyes*.

And you're welcome :D

I eat chocolate everyday. I'd be devastated without it.

For me it's Coke. Without the sweet, cool, taste of Coca Cola - by the end of the year I would probably be a murderer. I'd be that unhappy, I'd have to kill people. And stockpile soft drink. I'd be a soft drink baroness; it wouldn't be pretty.

Rachel finds Miles all tied up and bloody and they snarf each other up. And I SQUEAL. Also any time I see Tim Guinee's name I squeal.

I love that too, except for the word 'attempts'...because that means she fails (and Rachel never really fails lightly). But whateves, girl saves (or tries to save) boy is always a good story. AND IKR - I love seeing Tim's name. There's never anything bad about Ben flashbacks, except that we don't get enough. And he never does interviews or press... ( ... )

Is anyone really excited about the Patriots? I feel kind of neutral about them, because I'm skeptical they'll make interesting bad guys. (Also Miles is kidnapped by some other people? How many bad guys will we have to navigate? Kripke is always too simple on some things -relationships - and too complex on others.)

I'm excited by the idea of everyone (Team Matheson, Monroe, and the Nevilles) banding together to get rid of the upstarts. Just for the smart arse comments alone. Tom hates Charlie and Miles so, so much. And now's he's had a go at Monroe's 'erotic fixation' on Miles...there are so many cats out of so many bags.

I also like the idea of a Big Bad that doesn't walk in twirling moustaches and promising to paint the soil in blood. Subtly's nice.

And if they used to work with Randall, I'd say they're worth the benefit of the doubt. Imagine an army of Randalls.

(Kidnapped by Titus's 'tribe' I think...and I like having lots of people wanting things. It worked well in the movie Stardust, made it layered, fast paced,...except I ( ... )

Oh but wait, I just read this for the first time:

Q) Do you think Charlie trusts Miles more now?
Oh yeah! Way more! Miles is her one good thing left. And I love that relationship development also. They went from such a funny place where she was running at his heals and now you can see how much they love and care about each other. They rely on each other. There is a scene where we say goodbye when she leaves to go on her own journey and it's tough. It's tough to say goodbye to him because they adore each other. I think it's a really cool world to watch that happen.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL!!! This is so much better than them parting on bad terms. They are gonna hug! They are gonna hug!

Why is mercscilla not here right now!!!!!?????

LOL, maybe. On the one hand, I'm glad they're parting on good terms, on the other hand, it probably means Miles and Rachel still haven't told Charlie about their history, which annoys me. I want to know and I want Charlie to know.

Yeah me too. Maybe Miles can tell her the history, Charlie proves magnificently forgiving, and then they hug hug hug, while Rachel acts batsh*t crazy in the background (and plots to take over the world! I still kind of want Rachel to become the ruler of the world. She'd be an amazing supervillain.)

LOL, keep living the dream! Charlie is fairly forgiving, but she has a right to get mad first and for Miles to have to earn her forgiveness. And a hug would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath. Rachel would be an amazing supervillain, someone should write that AU.

Just random theories I have and such:

+ The drunken Monroe comrades - are former Militia men who miss their leader, miss the Empire Republic. And they better be card carrying Bass fanboys or I will be disappoint. (And if Charlie and Miles shoot Bass accusing looks, even tho he has no control over them, that'd be perfect ( ... )

I like that Mexico got a mention in the interview above - there has to be somewhere worse off than Texas. (California, show me California!)

Being in Houston, I have much glee about how much they can fuck up Texas post-apocalyptically. In The Twelve by Justin Cronin (an awesome book series, btw) Houston has been mostly flooded and has luxury ship liners turned on their ass ends leaned up against sky scrapers in downtown.

SHOW ME THAT, Kripke. :)))))

I love your theories and I can't wait. I did notice that as I rewatch (I mentioned this to Ivy too) that I dislike Aaron more. I liked him the first time 'round...but he has like ... one expression (I just finished watching Home again) and I was just like zzzzz the whole time with him and Priscilla, even though I like her.

What can you do?

+ Kripke and everyone keep saying that weird stuff is going down in Wiloughby. Like it's a hotspot a hell mouth if you will. And Kripke's latest interview (have I linked that one yet?) is um...confusing. He makes it sound like there's going to be supernatural things...that'll fit in the reality of the world we know. Which is really odd.

Oh dear Lord, between this and the writers from Supernatural coming on board, I'm getting worried here. This show doesn't need even remotely supernatural things happening, the nanites are bad enough.

Gene has his own page on the NBC.com/Rev site - so he's obviously going to be very much around for the season. I want him to have some kind of relationship with Charlie. They don't have to be close.

He's also in the group shot, so I'm guessing he's a regular/really important. I'd love for him to have a relationship with Charlie- she could use non-mass-murdering family members in her life.

It looks like Rachel comes out of her crazy, only to end up dealing with Aaron's crazy. I sort of hope they're ( ... )
