Is anyone really excited about the Patriots? I feel kind of neutral about them, because I'm skeptical they'll make interesting bad guys. (Also Miles is kidnapped by some other people? How many bad guys will we have to navigate? Kripke is always too simple on some things -relationships - and too complex on others.)

I'm excited by the idea of everyone (Team Matheson, Monroe, and the Nevilles) banding together to get rid of the upstarts. Just for the smart arse comments alone. Tom hates Charlie and Miles so, so much. And now's he's had a go at Monroe's 'erotic fixation' on Miles...there are so many cats out of so many bags.

I also like the idea of a Big Bad that doesn't walk in twirling moustaches and promising to paint the soil in blood. Subtly's nice.

And if they used to work with Randall, I'd say they're worth the benefit of the doubt. Imagine an army of Randalls.

(Kidnapped by Titus's 'tribe' I think...and I like having lots of people wanting things. It worked well in the movie Stardust, made it layered, fast paced,...except I kept forgetting about people and they'd show up on screen and I'd be all: omg! It's you. /random example)

But I'll be SO sad after all this time to not get much Miles and Charlie time. I wonder when those stills of him, Charlie, and Bass are from...

I know...they're the heart of the show. Still, I'm dying for that goodbye hug and talk. Tell us her how you feel Miles. That if Charlie gets herself hurt you're going to be very angry and kill people.

Best guess, I'd say Charlie, Miles and Bass are reunited sometime between ep 5 and ep 7? That pic was posted Sep 5th, and Ivy and I were guessing that they'd be shooting around episode 8 (or so) by now. They can't keep Charlie and Miles apart too long.

I knoooooow! My bbies!!!! I'm specing (or hoping) Miles will finally tell Charlie what she wanted to know about her mother and Miles, and this will be part of what impels her away - needing time to deal with that stuff. Because the truth is pretty ugly in this case, and Miles might deserve to be tortured apart from Charlie for a leetle bit. ;)

And then they'll reunite with MASSIVE HUGGING. All the hugs. Maybe even him petting her hair and giving it a tiny kiss. I'm not even shipping it. I'm familying it, peeps.

That would a really good reason for her to leave, and he'd have to let her go.

But I bet we're no closer to finding out all 'the fling secret' really details in the first few eps. This feels like it's going to drag out. But how deliciously angsty would it be if Miles was open and honest with Charlie about his past with her mother - the fling, the torturing, everything...and Charlie just walked away. (Planning on coming back eventually, but he wouldn't know that - coz he always assumes she thinks the worst of him)

And I'd like to cosign the massive hugging.

Imagine: Charlie's face, and Miles' face....and Bass looking on in shock at the ridiculous looks (of glee) on their faces at meeting up after like 3-4 weeks apart.

Srsly, Charlie's ♥MILES♥ face kills me every time - the pilot when he agreed to quest with her, when he wanted to save the orphans, and in 1.10 when he ran out of the smoke and leapt through the hole...just UGH. Those two and their faces.

And I'm also in for any hair touching that might or might not happen.

What I'd love would be Charlie trying to play it cool and Miles just grabs her and bear hugs the crap out of her so she's practically being smothered into his shirt and is trying to wriggle free and Bass just laughs his ass off.

Yes, yes, yes! What I need is Miles initiating hugs. I mean he did initiate when Maggie bit the dust, but he needs to cause the hug first when Charlie leaves in the Season 2 premier and (agreed) when he meets up with Charm in episode whatever (but please, God, let it be soon).

I know. And squishy-faced Miles when Charlie grabs the crap out of him in The Longest Day - like he's all shocked at first: WTF are we hugging in the middle of a battlefield, but then he's all - ok, kid, I f-ing love you and will hug you for as long as you like even though Nora is taking potshots somewhere yonder. Why is their niece-uncle love the most fetching love that's ever been depicted on television? I can't comprehend this, only that it is truth.

So true - he does. And Charlie is always so forgiving. I seriously cannot stop thinking about Tracy saying in that interview you posted that Miles is basically the only good thing Charlie has left. Stop killing me, Tracy. Ok, go on.

I think this being Revolution week is going to KILL ME. I think I'm already dead. Somebody help!

I know right. I loved his earnest surprise at being needed; where all he has to do is be there. Just nice simple love. It was such a scared kid hug too, the way she threw herself at him looking for comfort....and lol, poor Nora. Completely forgotten. But I think that moment was necessary (even if Nora's sudden selfishness was really OOC and stupid) - to show that if Miles needs to make a choice, it's Charlie.

He better keep choosing Charlie.

*shrugs*

Chemistry who can explain it.

Uh oh, do I need to go get ivy_b to get her Tigger pictures out?

If I get those five interacting and snarking at one another, I'll be willing to put up with Jason and Aaron. Just give me Miles-Bass-Charlie-Rachel-Neville, please.

The only thing better than a subtle villain is a complex one- maybe they can try that one next. And you know what the only thing better than an army of Randalls is? RANDALL!!! (I still miss him)
