Moony, moon, moon!

Ahhhhh! Wasn't the moon so gorgeous and dandy and full last night? Did you spend minutes on the driveway, gazing longingly at the beautiful moon through your binoculars? If not, you should have!

I love me some moon.

I did actually, well from my window, not the driveway. It was awesome. Though it says tonight is the actual full so it's bound to be equally as spectacular today. Something about that fall moon - so big and bright and awesome.

Yep, I know what you mean. And I always celebrate the full moon for three days each month - the day before, the day of, an the day after. :-)

I resisted the urge to howl last night. Barely.

Isn't it fun? I only wish I knew who made it. I couldn't find credit anywhere for it, though I saw it on many journals. :-/

I do believe that opiumgaze is the originator.

Errr... I meant the Hunter's Moon. This one was the Harvest moon ;) Usually the Hunter's moon here is a dark orange and beautiful! We'll see this year.

It's too bad that the full moon won't coincide with Halloween. That's the best!

Yeah, and I don't think we have enough pull to get it to happen, either.

I did! Well, no binoculars, but I did stand in the driveway and admire it.

Here, it was a bit cloudy - not in front of the moon, but most of the sky around it. As much as I appreciate a full moon on a totally crystal clear night, it was neat how the moonlight was illuminating the clouds and lighting up the whole sky.

I know exactly the sight you're describing, and yes - it really is just as wonderful, in its own special way. :-)
