I have that fine blond hair too - very forgiving. And I am paranoid about the razer, I am ultra careful - your poor toe!

It really is so nice. I remember my older sister having to shave so often. Her hair was so coarse and thick it would stand straight out through pantyhose, even. Mine is more than happy to lay down and be invisible, and I thank it for that!

Ouch! I real-life winced and gasped when i read this - OUCH!

I stopped shaving my knees or above, and while i have dark hair in places i do shave from frequent shaving, i learned that if i don't shave for long periods of time, my hair goes back to soft almost invisible blonde hair. So now i don't bother with my knees or thighs anymore, which shaves (pardon the pun) time off of my shaving time in a big way.

I've only ever, ever shaved about four inches above my knees - no higher. When I was in middle school, my mom cautioned me not to shave any higher because the soft, thigh skin is where doctors would graft from if ever needed in my life...

Now, I still don't know whether that's true or not, but I figure I'll take my chances and not risk one day having to shave my face! ;-)

The very first time I ever shaved, I cut my ankles to total ribbons. Blood everywhere.

So I know what you mean. I actually hate shaving, but I'm too chicken to try waxing or epilation. I have a very low pain threshold.

Nair worked well for me (until I found out that it gives me hives) and didn't hurt a bit, make sure you clean it off with a washrag that it is OK to bleach though!

Nair gives me hives too. I wish there was some way they could make it more gentle for very sensitive skin.

I know :( It's lame to break out in hives a lot. My last experience with it they spread all over my inner thighs right before I left to spend a week in Arizona... I spent most of my "vacation" applying Benadryl cream to my legs and laying on my bed instead of being in the sun with my friends.

yikes!

I shave literally every day - be thankful for your fine hair - I know I would be!

For so much of what you post, I'd love to trade places with you... but not on this part!

I shave a lot less often than most people too - and only when I want to, because Thomas couldn't care less how hairy I am or am not, which is one of the things I love best about him - but I almost always manage to nick myself SOMEWHERE and I hate it :( but I'm allergic to Nair so it's either shave or be itchy...

I shave every couple of months during 'pants season,' and every three weeks or so during 'shorts season.' It's wonderful!
