So, Amazon decided to cripple its search results by excluding "adult" material. This, of course, includes anything involving homosexuality. Except anti-homosexual books, naturally.

Summary here. Damn, they were so convenient to use, too. And what a perfect complement to just watching Milk this is.

Me, I plan to not use Amazon until they decide to stop crippling their search at all.

If some panicky parent can't be buggered to monitor what their child is looking for or buying, that's their problem.

If Amazon denies me opportunities to find books because they want to be "family-friendly", that's their perogative. But it makes it largely useless to me as a means for locating books sight-unseen, and therefore largely useless as a vendor, period.
