In which summer means never having to say you're tired

I win at life. It's quite satisfying to stay up until 7 AM because I'm working on something, and not for the usual reason*. So about Discworld... superbassx84 August 7 2005, 22:31:41 UTC
What's the order of books from beginning to end. I need to know what order to read them in over the next several years/months/weeks/whatever.

Also - NERD.

Also, Also - Summer's only 3 weeks longer! We need to do something violent to small mammals! DAMMIT!

Another potential addict! I'd recommend not starting with the beginning, as the first couple books aren't as good as the others (I like them, but a lot of people don't). There's four mini-series of books: Rincewind and the wizards, the witches, the Watch, and Death. I'd recommend the Guards books the most, starting with Guards! Guards! (or Men at Arms, which the library system actually has); there's also Death, which starts with Mort (or you could go to Reaper Man, the next book, which I like better). For Rincewind, you could read the first two books (The Color of Magic & The Light Fantastic) or just skip to Interesting Times. The witches I know next to nothing about. And I'm sure that was far more complicated than you need, but what the hell.

You keep on saying that like it's supposed to be an insult.

If by "do something violent to small mammals", you mean "hang out without damaging anything cute and fuzzy", then yes.
