It's that time of the year again, when I have to do a bunch of medical exams before my oncological check-up on December. Otherwise known as 'the time of the year when I'm constantly freaking out'. Today I had the first one, a liver ultrasonography. Since 2009 I have an angioma in my liver they have to keep an eye on, and it's sort of like a mole. A

Oh gosh! I'm only just resurfacing from my ridiculous cold and am catching up with entries. So sorry you had to go through this stress. I can imagine you can do without ever hearing a single remotely different sentence than "It's all fine." when you talk to a doctor. I'm so glad it's nothing serious. And I think you're right; doctors tend to be over-cautious with certain things so if they say it's nothing to worry about then it's true.

I have made use of my sick/stuck at home time by finally coming around to start on Supernatural. It is your fault, mostly, I hope you know that.

Thank you, darling! The main problem here is that mom was a doctor, and she always used technical terms, so my aunt and I are used to the word "cyst" coming up everywhere, and scaring the hell out of us. Thankfully, there's still the oncological check-up, and that's when I'll go through all my exams with my oncologist and have him/her explain to me every single detail.

OH. MY. GOD. You do know I will bug you every other hour to know which episode you're at, what do you think of the music, isn't Sam's hair adorable, and so on so forth? :D

Seriously, just skip the episode Bugs, and be patient because the series starts being great only by the end of the first season, and I truly fell in love with it with the final episodes of the second season. You'll see why.

I am totally fine with being bugged about details-half the fun is talking about stuff, and that's twice more valid when it's with somene who's already a friend.:) I'm about to watch S01 E06 ("Skin"). Sam's hair is totally adorable!♥ He is just a cute, sweet so and so, and even his voice is adorable. I was a bit weirded out by the chemistry between him and Dean, but then I remembered I'd written about 20,000 words of Holmescest so far, so yeah-not so weird anymore. Plus, I love how laid back this fandom is about incest. SPN Fandom: "Let's write like three thousand Sam/Dean stories. Oh. They're brothers. Okay. Let's write like three thousand Sam/Dean stories." :D

The music is awesome. I'm looking forward to the end of S01 and especially the end of S02, now that you've said about both. I liked the episodes so far, but haven't gone into an OMG mode. The show reminds me of The X Files a lot, which is totally cool! So I'm enjoying it so far, but I know I've not seen anything yet.

Sam and Dean's interactions are exactly the same as it was for me and my sister, that's the primary reason I fell in love with the show. There's an episode later on when Dean says something to Sam that I told my sister, word by word, years ago. But, yeah, even so I can see why everyone ships them, even if it creeps me out. Me, I'll be on this other corner happily shipping Dean and Castiel. :D

My OMG mode started by the end of the second season, although the final episodes of the first season got a "holy shit that was amazing". By the time the third season started, it was my favourite show forever and ever with a cherry on top. :D

The X-Files feeling was there for me too, not to mention Kim Manners was producer and director of both shows (he died during the fourth season, sadly).
