Wow. Can I ask how he died?

And I know what you mean about the weirdness of hearing through Facebook. Last year, one of my high school classmates died -- was in Iraq -- and while I didn't actually hear about it from Facebook (my mom called to tell me), just a few hours later I was on Facebook and saw all these peoples' status messages change and a new Facebook group and all. It was just sort of bizarre.

I'm not sure yet...:/ He worked at Shell Oil Company. Sorry about your HS friend. Yeah, facebook really does change the way we communicate. I don't know if it is in entirely good or bad ways.

I was in the same fraternity as Chris "Tex" Wilcox. He's the main reason why I ended up joining in the first place so it's truly sad to know he's not with us anymore. We held a ceremony in his honor and flew our flag at half mast on the morning we found out about the horrible news.
