So I went down memory lane by reading through all my past posts and man, do I hate reading what I wrote back in high school. It seems that I only ever used this journal back then to complain about my relationship status and that just makes me want to go back in time to give a wake up call to my past self. Things get better at the end of High School

Man, that sucks. I'm still in the exact same boat as you so I know how that feels, but at least I'm fortunate enough to already have a good segue into grad school. I can't imagine how shitty that must be to struggle even to get that far

That is partially why I am joining the military, it would be my biggest foot in the door for getting government positions. Plus, it will only add to my government retirement in the end and I can still end up helping the environment especially in the Coast Guard where they are in charge of spills that happen in the water *cough*Gulf oil spill*cough
