Sleeping positions?

Hey guys!
I'm not sure this really fits in the natural living community, per se, but out of all my resources I figured you guys are my best bet.
My question is: do any of you have any experience training yourself to sleep in a particular position? If you do, I'd love to hear some tips.

I am a tummy sleeper, when I was pregnant that was a no-go after about 12-14 weeks. I ended up bunching pillows around me to keep myself off my tummy and eventually my body trained itself to be a side-sleeper. Not the same thing, but maybe it could help.

I don't have any help for retraining, but I'm also a side-sleeper and wake up with wonky-arm if I sleep on it funny. I make myself a little cocoon and bunch pillows and blankets up under my back so that my weight is mostly on the bedding, but I'm still oriented to the side.

After both a lower and upper back injury I was forced to sleep on my back. The only trick that worked was putting a pillow under my knees. It helped straighten me out and assisted in my sleeping posture. However, it also left me unable to turn and lay on my side without feeling uncomfortable. Might help! Good luck.

I used to be a side sleeper, then I trained myself to sleep on my back. I have no idea what I did, just kept trying and trying. Every night I'd try to fall asleep on my back, and hope to wake up in the morning on my back. It took 2 years to learn/retrain myself. Though. I started dating a new guy, slept on my side next to him/on him ONCE. And now my shoulder pain is back, and I can't sleep on my back anymore. Grrr.

So, retraining yourself to sleep is possible, it just takes time, and whatever you do- try not to sleep on your side again! Even for a night!

I sleep with two body style pillows. One of the more traditional long rectangles ones at my back(it is pretty big and fluffy. Which means I have a hard time propping my leg up on it. Which means even if I do manage to roll over I don't stay that way for long.). So I lean back on it when I sleep. And then I have a snoogle pillow in front of me. http://www.amazon.com/Leachco-Snoogle-Total-Body-Pillow/dp/B0000635WI I use the snoogle to lean forward on. I got one of these when I was pregnant with my son. Since I had to sleep on my left side all night every night from 12 weeks till he was born at 38 weeks(doctors orders). So I started to sleep with the two pillows on either side. I also found this helps me stay off my right shoulder which I injured when I was 14 in a car accident(as I have gotten older sleeping to long on the right side causes me to pinch a nerve in the shoulder. Which can take days for it to right itself). I am a pretty ( ... )
