Yummy yogurt

What are your favorite ways to flavor and eat yogurt that don't involve adding any sugars? After my antibiotics, I'm now having issues with YIs and thrush and so I'm trying to eat as much yogurt as possible in addition to the prescription antifungals.
If I use yogurt in a soup or curry that is cooked, will I still get probiotic benefits? I don't ( Read more... )

You can make excellent salad dressings with plain Greek yogurt.

Garlic, mint, parsley, feta, more garlic, lemon zest and juice + Greek yogurt = amazing Greek goddess dip. Soooooo good.

i use plain yogurt and a small spoonful of cream cheese with potatoes and cauliflower and mash them together for a healthier mashed potato.

I'll make chicken or tuna salad with greek yogurt for where the recipe calls for Mayo.

oh yeah, I made it a lot last summer for office potluck type stuff, and summer gatherings, and it was funny because there would always be at least one person that sneered their nose and said "I don't do chicken salad," And I would say "It's not mayo."
And they would dig right in.

LICORICE POWDER in cherry-flavoured yogurt is the most incredible thing ever!!!

notes:

- not the "fruit-on-the-bottom" type
- add stevia for sweetening

also - mixing yogurt & sour cream for baked potatoes - healthier than just sour cream

boiling probiotics bad

you also need to fight FUNGUS during anti-biotics - use garlic, onion, and i believe grape-seed extract - be sure to mellow stomach w/ calcium, magnesium, or such

good for digestion: arrowroot, rosemary, many others
