If you have refrigeration, why not just bring a small amount of milk to work with you? I just pour some milk from my larger carton at home into a glass bottle with a screw top, and bring that to work as needed instead of worrying about going through a whole container before it spoils.

As another alternative, powdered coconut milk is *awesome* in coffee.

Hmm, I never thought of coconut milk either...will have to that sometime.

I only just started drinking coffee again(but not at home), and my partner next store just returned from maternity leave and is bringing her good coffee maker back. I find it easier to bring a small container of my own from home, otherwise you can buy a small container of milk, which I see often at Whole Foods or health food type stores.

Could you try rice milk or almond milk?

Or, maybe just try drinking better coffee? I only put milk in coffee I don't care for the taste of. Weaning yourself slowly off the milk-like-thing might be something to consider long term.

i used to love powdered cream/dry cream. http://www.expertfoods.com/realcream.php
it mixes best if you mix in a tiny bit of cold water then add it ot your hot coffee (or then pour your coffee in.

there's full cream milk powder, though: http://www.packitgourmet.com/Natures-First-Full-Cream-Milk-Powder-p159.html

Buy a small carton of milk (like the ones from grade school?) They can usually be found at convenience stores. Also, you can buy a quart of milk and freeze it in ice trays then pop them out into a baggie. Just thaw them out a few at a time. My grandmother used to freeze milk all the time when she found a sale.

I second almond milk. The original tastes just like milk, and although I'm not crazy over the vanilla, it might taste good in coffee! Forget animal milk.
