I've been trying very hard to eat healthy (ie. non-processed food, lots of fruit and veggies, almost no salt/sugar etc.) and so far it's going well, except for the fact that I hate fish, so my guess is I probably don't get enough Omega-3. Are there any other healthy sources of Omega-3? I know I could take fish oil capsules but I struggle a little ( Read more... )

Non"healthy" source of Omega-3. Gummies? I know, it's pitiful, but they're tasty and it gets the hubby to take his vitamins.

I get these also. I couldn't handle the "fish burps" after I'd take the Omega 3 capsules (and I tried at least five different brands) so now I take Omega 3 gummies which get their Omega 3 from kelp and seaweeds rather than fish. Taste good and no nasty fishy aftertaste.

This. Or Udo's oil if you want to make sure you're getting DHA and EPA as well as ALA.

You could try flax seed with your müsli (or any cereal mix) - crush them in a mortar first or they'll just slide right through you. It's also found in cowberries (lingonberries) and in kiwi - which you could also mix with your müsli, come to think of it. Yum.

you can buy it ground up, it just doesn't last as long. So store it int eh fridge or freezer

I frequently add one TBSP to a single serving of my fruit smoothies
